How do I create a database user account in Plesk?

To create a database user in Plesk control panel, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Plesk control panel using your username and password.

Step 2: Navigate to "Databases" tab or icon and click on it. In the Databases section, locate the database for which you want to create a user and click on its name or database.

Step 3: Scroll down or look for the "Database Users" or "Database Access" section. Click on it.

Step 4: In the Database Users section, Click on the option labeled as "Add Database User" or "Create Database User" to create a new user.

Step 5: In the form, enter the following information:
  • Database user name: Choose a unique name for the database user.
  • Database user password: Set a password for the database user. Make sure to choose a strong and secure password.
  • Confirm password: Re-enter the password to confirm it.
Step 6: Once you have entered the necessary details, click on the "OK" or "Create" button. The new database user will be created, and you will receive a confirmation message.

After creating the database user, you can associate it with the appropriate database(s) and configure the user's permissions and privileges. You can also manage database users, modify their passwords, and perform other user-related operations from the Databases section in Plesk.
