How do i get my auth code form Hosteasy?

To obtain your authorization code (also known as an auth code or EPP code) from Hosteasy, you will need to follow these general steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Hosteasy account. Visit the Hosteasy website and locate the login page. Enter your account credentials (username and password) to access your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Order -> My Invoices

Step 3: Locate the domain you want to transfer. If you have multiple domains registered with Hosteasy, find the domain name for which you want to obtain the auth code.

Step 4: Check the domain status. Ensure that the domain you wish to transfer is in an eligible status for transfers. For example, domains that are newly purchased have a lock period of 60 days. You cannot transfer domains that are in the lock period.

Step 5: Find the link to request the auth code. Click on "Auth Code" option to request the authorization code.

Step 6: Additionally, you may need to confirm your request via email or follow specific instructions provided on the screen.

Step 7: Receive and save the authorization code. Once you've completed the request, Hosteasy will send the authorization code to the email address associated with your account. Check your email inbox (including spam or junk folders) for a message containing the code. Note down the code or copy it to your clipboard for future use.
