How to Manage Site Details in Filezilla?

In FileZilla, you can manage site details using the Site Manager. The Site Manager allows you to store and organize various FTP server configurations for quick and easy access.

Here's how you can manage site details in FileZilla:

Step 1: Open the Site Manager: Launch FileZilla and go to the File menu. From the menu options, select Site Manager. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+S.

Step 2: Add a new site: In the Site Manager window, click on the New Site button to create a new entry for your FTP server.

Step 3: Enter site details: In the General tab, provide a name for the site in the My Sites list. You can choose any name that helps you identify the site easily.

Step 4: Configure connection settings: In the General tab, enter the following information:

Host: Enter the FTP server address or hostname.

Port: Specify the port number if it differs from the default FTP port (21).

Protocol: Choose the appropriate protocol (FTP, FTPS, or SFTP) from the dropdown menu.

Encryption: If using FTPS, select the type of encryption (e.g., Use explicit FTP over TLS if available).

Logon Type: Select the logon type (e.g., Normal, Ask for password, Interactive, etc.).

User: Enter the username for the FTP server.

Password: Provide the password associated with the username.

Step 5: Configure additional settings (optional): You can switch to other tabs in the Site Manager to configure additional settings such as Transfer Settings, Charset, Advanced settings, etc. These settings can help fine-tune the FTP connection behavior based on your requirements.

Step 6: Save the site: After entering all the necessary details, click on the OK button to save the site configuration.

Step 7: Access saved sites: Once you have saved multiple sites, you can easily access them from the My Sites list in the Site Manager. Simply select the desired site and click on the Connect button to establish a connection to the respective FTP server.

Step 8: Edit or delete existing sites: To modify or delete an existing site, open the Site Manager, select the site from the My Sites list, and click on the respective Edit or Delete button.

By using the Site Manager, you can conveniently manage and organize your FTP server configurations, allowing you to quickly connect to your desired FTP sites without having to enter the connection details each time you want to establish a connection.
