How to Reset your FTP Password?

Resetting your FTP password typically depends on how your FTP server is managed and configured. Here are the general steps for different common scenarios:
Through Web Hosting Control Panel (e.g., cPanel, Plesk)

Log in to your web hosting control panel:
For cPanel, access it via http://yourdomain.com/cpanel or your hosting provider's URL.
For Plesk, access it via http://yourdomain.com:8880 or your hosting provider's URL.

Locate the FTP Account Management Section:
In cPanel, look for the FTP Accounts section under the Files category.
In Plesk, go to Websites & Domains and then click on FTP Access.

Select the FTP Account:
Find the FTP account for which you need to reset the password.

Change the Password:
In cPanel, click Change Password next to the FTP account.
In Plesk, click on the FTP account and then change the password.

Save Changes:
Enter and confirm the new password and save the changes.

Open the FTP Server Software:
Open the administration interface for your FTP server software.

Navigate to User Management:

Select the User and Change the Password:
