To schedule backups in Plesk, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Log in to your Plesk control panel.
Step 2: Navigate to the "Websites & Domains" section.
Step 3: In the Websites & Domains section, select and click on the domain for which you want to schedule backups.
Step 4: Within the domain management interface, scroll down or navigate to the "Tools & Settings" section. Click on the "Backup Manager" option.
Step 5: Configure backup settings. These settings include:
Backup Schedule: Click on the "Schedule" tab to set up the backup schedule. Choose the frequency (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly) and specify the preferred backup time.
Backup Type: Choose the backup type, such as full or incremental, depending on your requirements.
Backup Location: Specify the location where the backups should be stored. You can choose a local directory on the server, remote FTP storage, or cloud storage services or Google Drive.
Backup Retention: Set the number of backups to keep on the server. Old backups will be automatically removed based on this retention policy.
Step 6: Click on the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the backup schedule.
Plesk will now automatically create backups according to the specified schedule and store them in the designated location. You can access and manage your backups through the Backup Manager interface.
