How to create new redirect in DirectAdmin?

To create a new redirect in the DirectAdmin panel, follow these steps:

Step 1: Log in to your DirectAdmin control panel using your credentials.

Step 2: Once logged in, navigate to the Accounts Manager or a similar option.

Step 3: Look for the Site Redirection or Redirects section and click on it.

Step 4: In the Site Redirection section, select the option to Create New Redirect or a similar option.

Step 5: Enter the necessary information for the redirect:

Path: Specify the path or URL from which you want to redirect traffic. For example, if you want to redirect http://yourdomain.com/old-page to a new location, enter /old-page.

Redirect Type: Choose the type of redirect you want to create, such as Permanent (301) or Temporary (302).

Destination URL: Provide the URL where you want the traffic to be redirected. For example, if you want to redirect to http://yourdomain.com/new-page, enter /new-page or the full URL.

Step 6: Click on the Create or Add button to create the redirect.

Step 7: The redirect will be created, and future requests to the specified path or URL will be automatically redirected to the destination URL you provided.
