How to update my nameservers in hosteasy?

To update the nameservers in Hosteasy, you can follow these general steps:

Step 1: Log in to your Hosteasy account. Visit the Hosteasy website and locate the login page. Enter your account credentials (username and password) to access your account.

Step 2: Navigate to Orders -> My Invoices

Step 3: Locate the domain for which you want to update the nameservers. If you have multiple domains registered with Hosteasy, find the domain name for which you wish to change the nameservers.

Step 4: Look for the option to edit nameservers. Within the domain management section, you find a link to edit or update the nameservers which is labeled as "Nameservers".

Step 5: Enter the new nameserver information. In the nameserver editing interface, you will typically find fields to input the new nameserver information. You may need to enter the primary and secondary nameservers provided by your new hosting provider or DNS service. Typically, you need to enter at least two nameservers, but some systems may allow for more.

Step 6: Save the changes. Click on "Modify" button to save the updated nameserver settings for your domain.

Step 7: Wait for propagation. Once you have saved the changes, it may take some time for the new nameserver information to propagate across the internet. This process, known as DNS propagation, can take anywhere from a few minutes to 24-48 hours. During this time, your website and associated services may experience temporary disruptions.
